Feeding local people in crisis

What to do if you need food...

All sorts of people in all sorts of situations sometimes need help with food.

If you are in need of an emergency food parcel for yourself or your family, you will need to get yourself a foodbank voucher. We cannot give you food without one of these.

A voucher can be obtained from local care professionals and voluntary organisations (Citizens Advice Bureau,  Church Leaders, Christians Against Poverty workers, Community Police, Salvation Army, Age Concern, and childrens’ centres in Truro.).

If you are unsure who to go to, contact us on 077 2171 1669 or email us at info@trurofoodbank.org

Drop-in Sessions

Bring your voucher along to a foodbank drop-in session. We will swap it for a hot drink, a friendly welcome, a listening ear and three days worth of food in supermarket carrier bags. We can also offer you additional help and support if you need it and point you to other people who could help you further with the long term problem as well as the short term crisis.

Our drop-in sessions take place every Monday from 12 noon - 2:30pm and Thursday from 10am - 1pm. at the Revolution Cafe inside Truro Methodist Church which is located in the heart of Truro, and now at Highertown Church on Tuesday from 10.00am to 12.00 noon

Once you have your voucher, please come along and see us - you will be very welcome.
